Math Project12/18/2017 Each student in my class will be creating a math project to show what they know about adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with decimals. The projects will be due in January, so you will have time to learn more about decimals. I wanted to tell you about them now, so that you can be thinking about what your project will show. You may choose one of the following projects: 1) Planning a Vacation 2) Split the Bill 3) Build your Dream Home 4) Feeding a Family 5) A Thanksgiving Dinner The details of each project, along with a rubric for it, can be found at the link below. Read through your choices, ask questions, and then let me know by Friday, December 21,which one you plan to complete. I will print out one copy of your instructions and rubric for you. After you have chosen your project - start planning. Even if you don't have all of the math figured out yet, you will do a much better job if you spread out the work. Parents and older siblings can help with the planning and research, but you need to do all of the math yourself. You also must turn in work papers that clearly show the math you did. The final projects must be turned in by Friday, January 26. You will present your project to our math class the following week. Comments are closed.
Ms. MartinThis is my 13th year teaching in Billings Public Schools. I was born and raised in Billings and attended Billings Public Schools! I love spending time with my family. My daughter graduated from U of M and I love to go and visit her and watch the Grizzly football games. Sorry Cat fans! My son graduated from Billings Public High School and is playing golf for MSU-Billings. If I am not with my family, you can usually find me walking my golden retrievers Lola and Winston.
