Want your child to experience some Spanish basics, culture, and holidays via music, reading, speaking, listening, and activities? Join Spanish Club! Your child will choose a Spanish name, learn how Spanish people around the world celebrate various holidays, & have loads of fun learning Spanish basics! www.arrowheadspanishclub.weebly.com Family Fun Night-We need Legos! Each class is in charge of putting together a themed basket. Our basket is a Lego theme. Your donation of anything Lego would be greatly appreciated. ELA-We are working on a unit in Wonders that explores the question "How does technology lead to creative ideas?" The literature we are looking at this week focuses on biographies and focuses on comprehension skills of ask and answering questions and sequence. For vocabulary we will learn about words in context and Greek and Latin roots. The focus in spelling this week is words with r controlled vowels. Your child has access to Spelling City at home. Math-The students will continue to work on place value of whole numbers, properties of algebra, the powers of 10, exponents, multiplying a whole number by 10, dividing a whole number by 10, multiplying a decimal by 10, and dividing a decimal by 10. Social Studies-We are learning about the origin stories of the Cheyenne and Crow Tribes. Writing-We will working on a narrative writing piece. Science- The students are working on a eco-systems unit with Miss Ziegler. Comments are closed.
Ms. MartinThis is my 13th year teaching in Billings Public Schools. I was born and raised in Billings and attended Billings Public Schools! I love spending time with my family. My daughter graduated from U of M and I love to go and visit her and watch the Grizzly football games. Sorry Cat fans! My son graduated from Billings Public High School and is playing golf for MSU-Billings. If I am not with my family, you can usually find me walking my golden retrievers Lola and Winston.
